The " B" key on the upper manual
is unique. When depressed, it moves a mechanical actuator to slide a custom leaf switch assembly underneath the preset framework. This specific switch arms and engages the 2nd/3rd harmonic Percussion circuit. If your percussion doesn't work only
when the B preset is down, or if the key fails to latch or reset properly, this sub-key switch mechanism is dirty, bent, or broken.
