Selling a vintage Hammond C-3 tonewheel organ console. This features the exact same internal guts, pre-amp (AO-28), and legendary dual-manual layout as the iconic Hammond B-3, just housed in the traditional church-style C-cabinet. Great candidate for a studio project, a church looking to upgrade an existing setup, or a musician looking to do a portable road-chop.
Condition:
Average cosmetic condition for its age. Has typical scuffs, minor scratches, and wear from decades of use, but the wood cabinet is solid.
Functionality:
The organ starts and the tonewheel generator spins up fine. It will need service—likely a vibrato scanner rebuild (standard chorus/vibrato troubleshooting), maybe preamp service? All serviceable, however, it is being sold “as-is”.
What’s Included:
Standalone C-3 console ONLY.
What’s NOT Included:
No pedalboard, no bench, and no Leslie speaker.
What Is Also Available ala carte:
A lightly used set of Organ Moving Dollies as shown in photos is available separately - BIG savings over new-in-box, however, local Nashville, TN pickup only, will not ship. $595
