The Smooth Drawbars Conversion Kit has been designed to convert all Hammond tonewheel organs with ratchet style drawbars to smooth drawbars. Models A, AB, AV, B, BA, BC, BCV, BV, C, CV, D, DV, RT, B-2, C-2 and RT-2 can be converted to an incredibly smooth and responsive drawbar action. No more ratchet clicks or harmonic drop-outs in between drawbar settings. Your drawbars can now be as smooth as those found on models B-3, C-3, D-100, RT-3 and A-100 Series, although some customers have commented their converted drawbars are actually smoother than those on these later models.
Available in either a "do it yourself" kit, or we can do it for you thru our drawbar assembly exchange service. All exchange service drawbar assemblies have been refurbished and converted to smooth drawbars using the Smooth Drawbars Conversion Kit. The conversion consists of new bussboards, drawbar contacts and drawbar guides, and all drawbar assemblies are tested prior to shipping.
We can also convert your existing smooth drawbar assemblies (B-3, C-3, D-100, RT-3, A-100 Series) that have been damaged or just worn out.
Note: We offer pre-converted drawbar assemblies only in exchange for your old assembly. All pre-converted assemblies have a 10 year warranty.
